WebOS is a mobile Operating system developed by Palm, the maker of mobile devices and later acquired by HP (Hewlett Packard). It is the first mobile Operating system that released full multi tasking (actively switching between applications). Since it was acquired by HP it has been developed to be used on HP Tablets too.

      WebOS devices have App Catalog where users can buy and download free and paid Apps developed by 3rd party developers. The WebOS devices uses Webkit based browser. Since it is a closed source Operating System, this OS will be found only on Palm and HP devices.
